This summer, I encourage you to get out and EXPLORE! Create a summer bucket-list of fun things to experience and do with your little ones. You may be asking yourself why do I need to get out when we can have fun at-home? While there are plenty of awesome activities to do with your little ones at-home, we believe that there are great reasons to get your little ones out and about.
Here is why getting out and exploring is important!
1) New experiences encourage development of new vocabulary. When exploring, your little one is also learning more about the way things work and understanding the world around them.
2) Learning is dynamic. As your little one learns through new experiences, they are also reinforcing things that they previously learned. This will only help them grow and understand the connections between different places, things, and ideas.
3) When you are present in the “now” with your child, you are enhancing your relationship and also building memories that will last a lifetime!
We want to help you on your journey to find fun places to explore. Check out our list of 25 Summer Fun Activities that are excellent for building new vocabulary and language!
